ZTE Corporation has announced through a press release on their website that they are entering the hand held mobile market with a new high-end HSDPA TD-SCDMA mobile device, the U990. It is the successor to their old but well selling U980 and the U981. The new device sports an amazing transmission speed of 2.8 mbps. The device will run Windows Mobile 6.0, and will feature both EDGE/HSDPA, GPS, and probably the rest of the standard array of hardware available for such devices.
