HTC Touch Pro, Now Available in US on Sprint/Nextel Considered to be the most business oriented phone currently on the market the HTC Touch Pro, recently released, has finally made its appearance in the United States through Sprint and Nextel. You can expect these phones to start picking up in popularity within the year. The phone with a new contract will run you around $300 and for those who are not eligable for upgrade/new customer discounts you should expect to fork over as much as $580 for one of these. Anyone lucky enough to pick one up yet?

HTC Tilt ROM Upgrade (AT&T)

HTC Tilt ROM Upgrade (AT&T) Users of the AT&T version of the HTC Tilt will be happy to know HTC has released an upgraded ROM for them. Featuring Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 and the following application upgrades: HTC Home, Video Share Calling, Threaded SMS, MS Voice Command, OneNote Mobile, Remote Desktop Monitor, Enroll Domain, and Managed Programs. This looks like a sign that HTC will be actively releasing updates for their hardware outside of the carrier scope. Anyone with a Tilt care to post their experience upgrading?

HTC Dream, First Android Device

HTC Dream, First Android Device The HTC Dream set to be released Q4 2008 under T-Mobile will be the first phone to feature Google's new Android operating system. The phone will have a full QWERTY keyboard, large iPhone style touch screen, bluetooth, wifi, and (unofficially) GPS. The Android OS is java based and is openly developed by Google as an open source alternative to platforms such as Windows Mobile and iPhone. Expect this to be the wave of the future, and in all the hipsters pockets by the end of this year.

HTC Dream video spotted on YouTube, check it out.

HTC opens up ROMs

HTC opens up ROMs HTC has loosened it's restrictions on accessing newer and better ROMs for their devices. You no longer need to be an e-Club member to be able to download the updated ROMs as long as your HTC device is not carrier locked (meaning you have an unlocked device or one that was not bought from a specific carrier). It would be safe to assume that the e-Club is going to turn into a premium goodies place for HTC customers to download ringtones, themes, and other random jargon. Follow the following link HTC Europe, and check out the support section for ROM updates.
